These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of sitereviewchecker.com (the "Service"), operated by SiteReviewChecker ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SiteReviewChecker provides automated, informational reports about publicly available websites, including a "trust score" derived from signals such as domain registration data, connection security, DNS and email configuration, and content transparency. The Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to violate any law or regulation.
- Attempt denial-of-service, scraping at abusive volumes, or any action that disrupts the Service.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems you are not authorized to assess.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or build a competing product from the Service or its data without permission.
- Submit ratings fraudulently, including automated, incentivized, or duplicate voting.
3. User ratings and submissions
The Service may let you rate a website (1–5 stars). By submitting a rating you represent that it reflects your genuine opinion. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, aggregate, and moderate submissions. We may remove, recalculate, or decline to display any rating at our discretion — for example, where we detect manipulation, abuse, or low-quality input.
4. Trust scores, accuracy, and editorial discretion
Trust scores and report content are produced primarily through automated analysis and are offered on an "as is", best-effort basis. We make no guarantee that any score or statement is accurate, current, or complete.
To maintain quality and correct errors, scores and report content may be reviewed, supplemented, adjusted, re-weighted, overridden, or otherwise set by SiteReviewChecker at our sole and absolute discretion — whether manually or programmatically, and with or without notice. Accordingly, a published score may differ from the output of any purely automated calculation and may be updated or fixed at a particular value where we consider it appropriate. Scores are expressions of opinion, not statements of fact, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.
5. No professional advice
The Service is not a professional security audit, financial, legal, or investigative advice, and is not a definitive determination about any business or individual. Always exercise your own judgment and conduct independent research before acting on any report.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its text, design, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by SiteReviewChecker and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission. Third-party names and marks referenced in reports belong to their respective owners.
7. Third-party websites and no endorsement
Reports concern third-party websites we do not control. A report is not an endorsement, accusation, or certification, and is not intended as a factual assertion of wrongdoing by any party. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party website.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SITEREVIEWCHECKER AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SiteReviewChecker from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Changes are effective when posted (reflected by the "Last updated" date). Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that location, to the extent permitted by law.
